Imerja’s monitoring services are designed to maximise the availability and performance of your IT infrastructures. The service, delivered through Imerja’s two 24x7 UK based Network Operations Centres based in Bolton, Lancashire and Elstree, Hertfordshire, is resourced by technical operators, not call centre staff.
Imerja will implement the monitoring service architecture, with appropriate Service Checks designed to measure the Availability and Performance of equipment against predetermined thresholds, which will trigger an alert if met or exceeded.
More than a ‘router Up router Down’ service, Imerja is able to monitor a range of devices and service checks from simple routers through to Firewall’s and security devices to real-time service checks on applications such as web, SQL, email and other services.
Imerja has ISO and ITIL based proactive incident management procedures which are followed in the event of a monitored alert. The service includes: alert information capture, 1st line diagnosis, customer contact and incident allocation, management and escalation to the appropriate Resolver Group.
In addition the following optional “uplift” services may also be included:
- Configuration Backups – Imerja will routinely backup monitored device configurations according to an agreed policy, monitor for any device backup failures and progress resolution through the incident management process. Imerja will agree and implement a configuration retention policy.
- Capacity Planning Support - Imerja will provide a monthly trend report based on agreed capacity/resource/performance utilisation metrics which are monitored. Imerja will support a quarterly review meeting to support the capacity planning process.
