Imerja wins Microscope ACES Award

Imerja has been named as the Vertical Resller of the Year Award in the 2014 MicroScope ACES Awards.
The award recognises both Imerja's technical capability and strong reputation for delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to customers in the public sector, specifically healthcare where it has seen significant growth in managed services and cloud based solutuions, including Video as a Service (VaaS) which has already received international recognition through the Computer Weekly European End User Award and Polycom EMEA Excellence in Industry Award.
The formal evaluation process was followed by a public vote from resellers, distributors, vendors and customers, making Imerja's success in this year's MicroScope Awards for Channel Excellence especially rewarding.
The expert judging panel commented “The entries were exceptionally strong this year, with most containing solid customer and channel references to back up claims of excellence. There were also signs of the transition in the industry towards managed services, with channel providers using that approach to the market popping up in most categories.”
This is the fourth award win for Imerja in the last six months that is directly related to its success with VaaS in healthcare.
Clive Longbottom, founder of Quocirca, spoke about the positive impact telehealth is having in his commentry on Imerja's Computer Weekly Award earlier this year “As healthcare moves from lots of general hospitals to fewer specialist ones, travel will become a major issue for many patients. The use of telehealth can act as a triage system and can help GPs and other local health workers filter out those who do not need to attend a specialist clinic some distance away....It also allows specialists to more effectively interact with each other, keeping up on the latest progress in healthcare, and allows for highly specialised consultants to be brought in to a case easily and speedily where required.”
