Further demonstrating the value of its partnership with Virgin Media Business, Imerja was appointed in 2008 for the provision of a range of security and remote access products for Warrington Borough Council. Procured under the government catalyst framework, the successful joint bid from Virgin Media Business and Imerja was developed on a blend of industry leading products brought together in a seamless service to support the council’s flexible working strategy.

In responding to the tender the Virgin Media Business led partnership proposed a resilient, load balanced perimeter from Stonesoft and SSL VPN service from Juniper complimented by RSA strong Authentication, Exinda bandwidth management and Check Point Endpoint Security components – all underpinned by a comprehensive design and installation service with on-going technical support and maintenance over a 3-year contract term. The project will enable the council to deliver upon its Flexible Work Strategy.
