Imerja provides a comprehensive range of penetration test services based on the modular Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM).
The Council chose a selection of tests to undertake that are beyond most typical penetration test services, including:
- Policy Posture Review
- Internal Vulnerability Test of their host systems and resources
- External Vulnerability Test of their perimeter security defences
- Penetration Test of Internal and External defence systems and services
- Mobility Test, including wireless, remote access, and home worker defences
- PABX Assessment
- Social Engineering Test, including intelligence scouting
Throughout testing Imerja worked closely with key Council staff, keeping them fully informed of the activities at every stage.
As a result the Council now has an excellent understanding of its security posture and a strong foundation on which to continue its security planning and protection.
