When Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council identified the need to the replace its existing corporate firewall cluster earlier this year it looked to its existing security partner Imerja to work with the authority to design and implement an appropriate solution.

An approved Check Point partner and certified Check Point Collaborative Support Partner Imerja was able to implement the SecurePlatform solution at a significant cost saving compared to other EAL4 compliant solutions and, through the robust application of PRINCE2 project management techniques, with minimal service impact to the authority's many stakeholders at cutover.

Since implementation of the SecurePlatform solution Imerja has been retained to provide further services to help the authority develop and support its security infrastructure, and looks forward to building on the existing relationship Imerja already enjoys with Sefton.
