Imerja has a close working relationship with Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council, having been a trusted supplier since 2005. Imerja was initially engaged to provide professional consultancy services for the scoping, design and procurement of the replacement/upgrade of the 170 node network

With key members of Imerja providing design services, project management and procurement for the original £8m WAN infrastructure it was recognised that Imerja would bring significant value to the planned upgrade to the infrastructure moving forward. Imerja provided comprehensive security and infrastructure technical design services alongside managing the full OJEU procurement of the proposed program of works.

Following this initial engagement, Imerja was subsequently appointed for the replacement and management of the authority’s perimeter firewalls, inclusing support and monitoring of the estate moving forward. Continued engagement with the council has seen Imerja strengthen its trusted partner status, providing a range of consultancy, support, monitorng and managed services covering the authority's WAN and LAN infrastructure, security estate and other ICT solutions.
