Imerja’s experience within the Central Government sector is extensive having been involved in a number of relevant security and IT infrastructure projects, including technical design and advisory roles from the inception of the Government Connect programme, consultancy and programme management for the Cabinet Office and delivering a hosting solution for the UKCES.
Our reputation and trust also positioned Imerja as a critical friend to the Cabinet Office e-Delivery Team, which is responsible for the Government Gateway and also provides ownership and direction for the ‘common infrastructure’ technologies that are increasingly seen as the linking technologies required across the public sector. Imerja has been working with eDT since 2006, initially helping to develop the groundwork for relocation from London to the North West, including live service management and providing technical assessment of Common Infrastructure projects. As further projects are initiated and developed Imerja continues to provide resources and acts as a critical friend as eDT transforms its service function.
