Network Computing Awards - VOTE NOW

Imerja is delighted to report it has been shortlisted in the Network Computing Awards for 2011 in the category of Reseller of the Year.

This national award recognises excellence in the delivery of solutions, service and support, taking into consideration the ability to deliver real benefits and meet customer objectives in terms of improved efficiency, ROI and investment protection, and cost reduction.

Imerja are delighted to announce that Ian Jackson, Managing Director of Imerja, has been shortlisted for the Institute of Directors (IoD) UK Director of the Year Awards after picking up an award in the regional finals.

In October last year, Jackson won the IoD Yorkshire Bank Ackroyd Award which recognised outstanding contribution to corporate social responsibility.  Jackson was then invited to enter the UK finals along with all other regional winners and has been shortlisted in the category of ‘Director of the Year for Environmental Leadership’.

Jackson commented: “Winning the CSR award at the regional stages last year and getting through to the UK finals is a tremendous accolade to Imerja, and a testament to the investments we have made as a business to develop a positive and proactive culture.

As an IT service provider we are faced with daily challenges around ‘green’ issues and the impacts of IT on the environment; this award recognises that Imerja are identifying these issues in developing a sustainable business, both for ourselves and for our customers.”

The awards ceremony will take place on 1st October at the prestigious Lancaster Hotel in London.

Imerja’s recent run of industry recognition continued at last night’s Bolton & Bury annual business awards, being Highly Commended for its ongoing success in the Innovation & Design category. Although not an outright category winner on this occasion, making the shortlist and receiving the commendation against the large pool of finalists from all industry sectors and across the wider region is a further demonstration of Imerja’s success and ongoing development as a provider of innovative and high quality services that it’s customers want.

Imerja was commended for the developments over the past twelve months into it’s own services that have been developed in-house, including a state of the art 24×7 operations centre and complex hosting data suite, specifically built for the head office in Bolton. In support of these new investments, Imerja has also developed a range of services that underpin the technology, including a managed service portfolio, m | four and managed mobile services for corporate mobile communications.
